你是否还记得 Great Scientists（book5unit2）第一篇课文中为解决“This was the deadly disease of its day” “Neither its cause not its cure was understood”以及“Many thousands of terrified people died every time there was an outbreak”的霍乱疫情，John Snow是如何通过自己的专业判断、严谨验证找到病因并采取相应的应对措施的吗？

对霍乱传播途径最初的推测 “The first suggested that cholera multiplied in the air. A cloud of dangerous gas floated around until it found its victims”空气传播理论和“The second suggested that people absorbed this disease into their bodies quickly with their meals.
